The ordinary meeting of the II-nd East-European Electoral Regional Group where Ukraine is a full-fledged member, was held in UNESCO headquarters on the 18th of January 2013.

During this meeting our country was officially elected as Vice-President of the Group for the first half of 2013.

According to the existing practice, the Vice-President of the Group automatically takes over the responsibilities of its President after a 6-months term of its vice-presidency.

Respectively, Ukraine will preside over the II-nd East-European Regional Electoral Group in the second half of 2013.
