On the 23rd of June 2013 the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO at its 37th session (Phnom Pehn, Cambodia), decided to include another Ukrainian cultural site - “Ancient city of Tauric Chersonese and its chora (V century A.D. – XIV century B.C.)” to the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Currently there are seven cultural and natural sites that represent Ukraine in the World Heritage List, enriching the global treasury of world heritage.
The next 38th session of the World Heritage Committee will be held in 2014 in the State of Qatar.
