On September 10, 2021, the report of the UNESCO Director-General «Follow-up of the situation in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (Ukraine)» was published on the official website of the Organization.
The report, which is available at: https://unesdoc.unesco.org/ark:/48223/pf0000378910, includes information provided by the Ukrainian side, as well as by UNESCO partner organizations - the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the OSCE Representative on issues of media freedom, the International Council on the Protection of Monuments and Historic Sites (ICOMOS), Amnesty International. The information provided by the Ukrainian side is included in the report of the Director-General of UNESCO in its entirety.
The document will be considered under item 5.I.E of the Provisional agenda of the 212th session of the Executive Board, which will take place from 6 to 20 October 2021. The report also includes a draft decision of the 212th session of the Executive Board on the situation in the temporarily occupied Crimea, which obliges the Director-General of UNESCO to present the next report on this issue at the 215th session in November 2022.
