The 193^rd session of the UNESCO Executive Board was held on the 22^nd of November 2013 inParis with the participation of the delegation of Ukraine, headed by Ambassador, Permanent delegate of Ukraine to UNESCO Mr.Oleksandr Kupchyshyn.

The Executive Board elected the Permanent delegate of Egypt to UNESCO Mr.Mohamed Sameh Amr as its new president for the term 2013-2015, as well as members of its Bureau, composed of the representatives of Albania, Angola, Bangladesh, Ecuador, United Arab Emirates and the Netherlands.

In the framework of Subsidiary Bodies of the Executive Board, Ukraine became a member of the Programme and External Relations Commission, Finance and Administrative Commission, Special Committee and Committee on Non-Governmental Partners.

The next, 194^th session of UNESCO Executive Board will take place in UNESCO headquarters in April 2014.

Ukraine was elected as member of this governing body for a four-year term during the 37^th session of UNESCO General Conference (5-20 November 2013).
