Kyiv, Netishyn and Poltava joined UNESCO Global Network of Learning Cities. Until today, only 3 Ukrainian cities - Melitopol, Nikopol, Novoyavorivsk - have been members of this Global Network.
Ukraine has always had high standards of education and provided access to education for both children and adults. Lifelong learning is an important tool for ensuring long-term economic stability, security and social responsibility.
By joining the Global Network of Learning Cities, Ukrainian cities, despite the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against our country, will have the opportunity to develop and agree on a plan for joint actions and international cooperation with other members, implement ideas for creative educational projects in the community, and promote the dissemination and exchange of information between the cities of Ukraine and the world.
