Ivan Franko International Foundation invites scientists in the field of social and humanitarian sciences to submit their works for the Ivan Franko International Prize 2021.

Scientific works should be based on scientific understanding of historical or contemporary processes in culture, politics and public life of Ukraine and be recommended by academic institutions, higher education institutions of Ukraine, governments of countries having diplomatic relations with Ukraine, or the previous winners of the Prize.

Nomination files should be submitted before March 1, 2021, online on the official website of the Ivan Franko International Foundation:

Three printed copies of the scientific work, signed by the author, should be mailed to the Committee of the Prize (01054, of.15, 48a, Volodymyrska St., Kyiv).

The Ivan Franko International Prize has been awarded annually since 2016. The laureats of the Prize are:

2020: Ihor Serdyuk, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ukrainian History of V.G.Korolenko Poltava National Pedagogical University;

2019: Maria Grazia Bartolini, Doctor of Philology at the University of Milan;

2018: Yaroslava Melnyk, Professor of Ukrainian Catholic University (Lviv) and Ukrainian Free University (Munich) and Johannes Remy, Associate Professor of the Department of Eastern European History at the Helsinki University;

2017: Michael Moser, Professor of the University of Vienna, President of the International Ukrainian Association and Oleh Shabliy, Academician, Professor Emeritus of Ivan Franko National University of Lviv;

2016: Lubomyr Husar, Major Archbishop Emeritus of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Cardinal of the Catholic Church.
