The Minsitry of Justice of the Russian Federation added the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People to the list of organizations that are suspended on the territory of the Russian Federation due to “extremist activity”.

 The Mejlis is prohibited from using media, holding public events, and “in general carrying out any work.”
